About Chamonix
Chamonix, nestled at the foot of Mont Blanc, is a legendary ski resort celebrated for its challenging terrain, world-class off-piste opportunities, and dramatic alpine scenery. While not part of a vast interconnected ski area like some others, its multiple distinct ski domains offer a huge variety of slopes catering to all levels, though it truly shines for experienced skiers and freeriders. Beyond the slopes, the vibrant town offers a rich history of mountaineering, a bustling atmosphere, and a wide array of shops, restaurants, and activities.
Getting here
Chamonix is located in the Haute-Savoie department of the French Alps, very close to the Swiss and Italian borders, and can be accessed by flying into Geneva Airport (Switzerland), followed by a direct bus or private transfer, or by taking a train to the Chamonix-Mont-Blanc station.
