About Avoriaz
Avoriaz stands out with its unique, purpose-built, car-free design, where horse-drawn sleighs and skis are the primary modes of transport, creating a truly enchanting winter wonderland experience. Perched high above Morzine, it offers direct access to the vast Portes du Soleil ski area, connecting 12 resorts across France and Switzerland with over 650km of diverse pistes for all abilities. Getting here
Avoriaz is located in the Haute-Savoie department of the French Alps, directly above Morzine, and can be reached by flying into Geneva Airport, followed by a bus or private transfer to Morzine, then a gondola up to the resort, or by taking a train to Thonon-les-Bains or Cluses and then a connecting bus.
