About Furano

Furano Ski Resort in Hokkaido, Japan, offers a premier alpine experience renowned for its light, dry powder snow and diverse terrain. The resort encompasses two main zones—Furano and Kitanomine—providing 28 trails that cater to all skill levels, from gentle beginner slopes to challenging runs for advanced skiers. With modern lift systems, including a 101-passenger ropeway, and amenities like ski-in/ski-out accommodations, Furano ensures a seamless and enjoyable skiing adventure.

Getting here

Furano Ski Resort is located in central Hokkaido, Japan. Travelers can reach the resort by flying into Asahikawa Airport, followed by a 1.5-hour bus ride, or from New Chitose Airport near Sapporo, with a 2.5 to 3-hour bus journey. Alternatively, trains connect Sapporo to Furano Station, from which the resort is a short taxi or shuttle ride away.
