About Tignes
Tignes is a high-altitude, snow-sure ski resort renowned for its long season, often opening in October and closing in May, thanks to its glacier skiing opportunities. Part of the vast Espace Killy ski area, linked with Val d'Isère, it offers an impressive 300km of diverse pistes, catering to all abilities from gentle nursery slopes to challenging couloirs and extensive off-piste terrain. The resort boasts a vibrant, youthful atmosphere and a wide range of activities beyond skiing, including ice skating, ice diving, and paragliding.
Getting here
Tignes is located in the Savoie department of the French Alps, and can be accessed by flying into nearby airports such as Geneva, Lyon, or Chambéry, followed by a bus or private transfer, or by taking a train to Bourg-Saint-Maurice and then a direct bus connection.
